Sarah, Trudy and I stumbled across this one a few weeks back and it hit us hard. US photographer Gregg Segal asked friends, neighbours and family to pose in 7 days worth of their rubbish. The result was quite confronting .
Below is only one photo from the series 7 Days of Garbage, head to Gregg’s website for more.
“7 Days of Garbage is a series of portraits of friends, neighbors, and other acquaintances with the garbage they accumulate in the course of a week. Subjects are photographed surrounded by their trash in a setting that is part nest, part archeological record. We’ve made our bed and in it we lie.” – Gregg Segal
‘We’ve made our bed and in it we lie.’ Omph.
These images fanned the flame for our little group. I hope they resonate with you also. I’m crowning it today’s inspiration.
